The Rotary Club of Paducah is pleased to announce that two Paducah Tilghman freshmen were selected to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) camp.
C-Bonesha Merriweather and Michael Robinett, both of Paducah, will attend the weekend leadership camp hosted by Rotary District 6710 on September 15-18. The camp is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Paducah. St. Mary sophomore and RYLA attendee last year, James Mayfield, will return as a counselor/mentor.
The RYLA camp for high school students features educational activities that focus on team building, problem solving and critical thinking.
Rotary International is the largest service organization in the world and programs devoted to young people reinforce their motto, “Service Above Self.”
