Love Market House!

Market House Theatre opens its 47th season Thursday, Sept. 2, with the romantic musical comedy I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change.

The show spotlights love, dating, marriage and parenthood, blended together with great music. This show, and the incredible cast, will leave you smiling for weeks. Makes for a perfect date night!

Shiny Wheels, Happy Babies

THIS Saturday from 8am-6pm, Southside’s Finish Line Car Wash will donate 10% of EVERY wash and detail to the March of Dimes. From a quick rinse to full detail, you can get your car clean and help save some lil’ ones. Sounds like a fun Saturday to me. Loves it!

Find Your Sign At The Carson Center

Need a sign from above? A Southern Gospel Concert will bring it to Paducah on Friday, Aug. 27. Presented by Fountain Avenue United Methodist Church, this concert features The Issacs, Gordon Mote and Buddy Greene.

If you miss out, you may be in line for another sign. “Here’s Your Sign” comedian Bill Engvall stops in Paducah Saturday, Sept. 25. Whatever you need, you’ll find there’s something to love about the Carson Center’s 2010-2011 season!

Since 2002, The Carson Center has celebrated creativity and diversity in western Kentucky. The staff of this performing arts center encourages patrons of all ages to attend performances, participate in educational and outreach activities, and expand their horizons through the arts.

Maiden Alley Cinema

Paducah’s Maiden Alley Cinema shows award-winning independent domestic films, classic films from the golden age of Hollywood, internationally renowned foreign films and a host of academy award winners. MAC hosts a number of fun events throughout the year including Chick Flicks, Guys Night Outs, the River’s Edge International Film Festival (to be held Nov. 4-7) and the 48-Hour Film Project, which starts Aug. 13.
